Liposuction (Power Assisted)

Liposuction removes pockets of stubborn fat (diet and exercise resistant) that have become deposited in various areas of the body over time. Prof. Kirwan uses the Micro-Aire Power Assisted Lipoplasty Device during this procedure, which requires less force and makes the procedure easier on both patients and surgeons.

3-D Superficial Liposuction

Whereas some liposuction only removes fat from the deeper layers, 3-D SLS removes fat from all layers. This results in greater body definition and also means you may look good both in and out of clothes.

Mini-abdominoplasty

This procedure is confined to the lower abdomen, the skin below the belly-button. It may be suitable for women who have had children or for men and women who have been left with sagging skin after significant weight loss. The scar is generally short and restricted to the lower abdomen.

Abdominoplasty

Commonly known as a tummy tuck, abdominoplasty tightens the stomach muscles and removes the excess skin surrounding the area leaving you with a sexy looking belly button and tummy. The benefits can also be seen around the upper thighs and pubic area. The resultant scar will extend from one hip-bone to the other.

Modified Abdominoplasty

This procedure tightens the abdominal muscles and removes a small amount of lower abdominal skin. The scar is confined to the lower abdomen. There is a scar around the belly-button (navel). Liposuction may be used in all types of tummy-tucks to further flatten the tummy.

Arm Lift

This procedure removes the extra and unwanted skin that hangs from the underside of the upper arms and is commonly termed ‘Bat wings’ or ‘Bingo wings’. It will restore a more youthful appearance to the arms.

Axilla-Plasty

This is a procedure to correct the overhang of fat and skin above the bra at the armpit which limits tops that women can wear. The fat is suctioned and excess skin is removed creating a neat thin line scar hidden in the apex of the axilla. The wound is closed with a knotless absorbable Quill® suture which aids in the healing.
