Vein Procedures

The Kirwan Vein Center is located in Stamford, Connecticut. The Center employs injection therapy for the treatment of varicose veins and spider veins of the lower extremities. Prominent veins in the breast and face are also treated. All treatments are performed by Prof. Kirwan.

Prof. Kirwan is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an Active Member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Prof. Kirwan has been in practice in Connecticut since 1987. He was recently named one of the thirteen best plastic surgeons worldwide by Tatler Magazine.

The Kirwan Vein Center provides comprehensive care of:

• varicose veins
• spider veins

... without permanent scars associated with vein "stripping" and multiple excisions or "phlebectomies".

Prof. Kirwan is available for consultation and discussion regarding the various options to treat your varicose and spider veins.

Consultations are scheduled for a minimum of one hour and there is a consultation fee of $150. Dr Kirwan is of the opinion that you have to understand the cause of varicose veins and why certain treatments are ineffective, in order to make an educated decision.

Many patients, past and present, who have had failed results from traditional stripping and multiple excision methods as well as the more recent "Endo- venous" procedure, have successful treatment outcomes at the Kirwan Vein Center.
